Overview

The FireFly GSE (Global Small Engine) is Stellantis's modern small displacement engine family, introduced in 2016. These engines feature aluminium construction, turbocharging, and mild-hybrid capability, replacing older Fiat FIRE engines across Lancia, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo models.

How it Works

FireFly engines use a modular design with 3-cylinder (1.0L, 1.2L) and 4-cylinder (1.5L) configurations.
